Project #ignite
Leading Scripture: Ecclesiastes 2:1 – Remember your creator in the days of your youth before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.”

Problem: In 1962, the U.S. Supreme Court banned school-sponsored prayer in public schools. God has been taken out of the education system. It didn’t prevent students from meeting and praying on school grounds as long as they did it with respect to others and didn’t force others to do the same. The real problem is that parents stopped teaching their children to choose God and to pray.

Solution: Project #Ignite is a summer program that reduces moral turpitude by inspiring youth to daily peace, reconciliation, and restorative practices during the school year.
Purpose: To provide youth with an option of using biblical principles to navigate through everyday problems and build benign leadership skills.
Mission: To empower students to achieve peace and a community mindset in educational institutions.
Vision: To create a local opportunity for servant leadership in every school through our youth.
Program Objectives:
-
Establish a school club as a localized refuge for social distress and peer sociability.
-
Create local community opportunities for youth to be more engaged and serve.
-
Establish an interdenominational spiritual youth coalition.
